Colt Starting
Will starts colts at Longworth Ranch near Merritt, BC. A thirty day commitment is required and the owner is encouraged to participate as much as possible. The colt will be taught through a relationship of respect and trust. The colt sets the pace at which it learns basic ground manners and to accept saddling and riding. After thirty to ninety days the horse will be mentally prepared to continue training in any discipline and should be ready to be ridden safely.
